The Valentine’s Scene, Pour the Wine, Let Love Shine

by | Feb 13, 2025

A meal shared outdoors is more than just dining—it’s a moment suspended in time. One where setting and sentiment blend seamlessly. Valentine’s Day offers the perfect excuse to escape the ordinary and create a personal retreat for two. Imagine a candlelit bistro table beneath a pergola, a rustic fireside dinner, or a sleek and modern alfresco setup. The right environment transforms a simple meal into an intimate experience, making every glance, every laugh, and every bite even more memorable. Let Lesera share the evening with you and your significant other.

Location, location, location. As true in real estate as it is in décor and romance. What if your home garden could be the go-to spot for romance? Let’s look at Valentine’s Day in the garden.

Valentine’s Day is a time to share intimate moments with a significant other. We all know the drill: buy candies, pick a restaurant and get dressed to the nines and let romance begin. It’s tradition. Well, you could do all of that and the restaurant could be your own outdoor space. Your home, a vintage vineyard with mosaic tables and chairs. Candle-filled lanterns sitting by exposed brick along with the warm lighting coming from the kitchen window can give you that feel of evening dining alfresco by the restaurant door.

Instead of trying to find space at your favorite restaurant, why not build that perfect space somewhere where there’s always a place for you. Just like the heart of your significant other.

Who doesn’t love a date at the vineyard in the cooler months; or the Summer months. I know we do. A glass of red, a comfy chair and gentle fire crackling and glowing on your face. Pair that with your special person and the magic flows like a stream of light from a wand in Merlin’s hand. For Valentine’s Day, we need all the magic. Right!?! Let’s build the romantic ambience your partner would love.

This is a two-person event, so we only need seating for, well, two. To do this we suggest a beautiful mosaic or iron bistro set. This brings in the rustic and vintage, completing the atmosphere of cozy, warm and authentic. Couple that with hues of brown, red and white and your glass of red or white will be simply a compliment and not the focus.

There’s nothing more romantic than warm, cozy and authentic. Is there?

Remember the fall when we flocked to these very same vibes to cuddle and “get warm” just stare into each other’s eyes while wrapped in a shared blanket? Do that with a fireplace or fire pit. Just adding some fragrant wood to a great fire will bring the energy you want; throw in a vintage bench or swing and you’ll be the envy of your neighbors.

Sit under the hanging string lights, sip on your glass you just lifted from the mosaic pattern adorning your table. Fireflies dance around the candlelight coming from your lanterns and the fire pit glowing in your eyesight. That’s our vision of dining outside on the big V Day.

What is your style?

How are you decorating for the night festivities?
