Rad Fu doggies- the details are cool and the finish/ patina is pretty nice. Cut out one of the head curls and then filled it with cement plus added threaded studs in the feet to set it permanently into the staircase bookends so tweakers dont/ cant steal them.

According to the Chinese, these are supposedly dogs and not lions. They are canine, not felines. (Who writes these descriptions!!!! – HIRE ME INSTEAD – lol)
The Foo Dogs are perfect!!! We always receive complements about them. Our guests love them!!!
IMPORTANTLY for Feng Shui, correct placement for Foo Dogs are as follows when you are facing the dogs, the female should be on the left side and the male on the right side. With these particular dogs – the female has a pup under her left paw and the male has a ball under his right paw. Thus, with these Foo Dogs, the female should be on the left and the male on the right.
So dont use the Wayfair picture for placing your Foo DOGS!!!!!
