A birdhouse is the next thing you need. As we mentioned earlier this month, birds come in various sizes, so it’s essential to understand the birds native to your area. These are the friends you’ll be welcoming.
In our local area, I often see Cardinals, Robins, Sparrows, and White-breasted Nuthatch. These birds are similar in size, with the Robin being the largest of the four.
This information is crucial for two reasons:

- We need to ensure that larger birds and predators cannot access the birdhouse, or at least have a hard time doing so.
